Cumbrian Delight by Capturing-the-Light Cumbrian Delight by Capturing-the-Light
Taken at my favourite place Wastwater, just before sunset last night, for once a very warm English summer evening! Thank you so much for taking the time to view. the picture was tweaked in adobe camera raw, then Nik color Efex.

The colours look fantastic in the lighting conditions you have captured here and the water looks both peaceful and inviting, on these warm summer evenings.

Great shot Simon
Just a question about the composition that interests me

You have chosen to leave quite a space of the foliage in the foreground instead of being closer to the water

Was a that a constraint based of the geography(couldn't actually get closer) or a deliberate decision?

Thank you my friend appreciated
As for foliage space, it was to do with the geography, at that particular spot I could not get closer to shoreline, quite a steep incline.
