I love the soft lighting of the scene but I find that the heavy black foreground a bit too overpowering! Cut it out and you are left with a pleasant tranquil scene which would have more impact!!

Nyyyce, I like the hidden valley feel that I get form the image. Its like that entire area is hidden and has remained untouched for a good long time. The colours are great as well, at the top of the image there is this orange cloud extends down and has this odd effect. It looks like its imparting colour to those clouds that are inbetween the land masses. Also the brightest parts of the image create this sort of mid-ground horizon that you follow, also noticing the light that sits on that same level.

The colours are great too, they are so smooth and they flow from one to the next. The brightest cloud attracts your attention, this leads you to the orangey one, and from there you look at the mid-ground cloud, this alone guides you through the image, and then you see the trees and the other clouds.
also that small area in the bottom left that looks like a road in works quite well in this shot. because it has caught some light it looks like a safe way in.

Anywaz I'll stop now lol, thanks for posting.

good title
is it because of the hard line of the foreground, the hill with no mist?
and the peach cloud , vaguely anthropomorphic, drifting off to the new start?

Thank you so much for such a thought provoking comment, I appreciate it. When it comes to giving my work a title I walk away, and return then usually go with the first feeling translated into words it evokes in me. I much prefer your thoughts though
