Natures Olympianby *Capturing-the-Light

This Friday in the UK the Olympics are officially opened, men, women from around the world, united as one to seek to become the best in their field of sport. the world will watch in wonderment as records are broken, history is made. I wish luck to each and every country and contestant. Spare a thought though for natures olympians, the landscapes around us, battling the encroachment of man, the changing seasons, global warming, natural disasters, forest fires, earth quakes, landslides, flooding, the list goes on. Not just a 4 yearly affair, but day in day out, month in, year out, all around us. Yet always there is a winner, the everchanging landscape, fighting, strugggling, standing tall and bring beauty to the world, that too me is one hell of an olympian feat, to sustain that and achieve that since time began. Is it any wonder we love to photograph natures riches??
