Valley Flow by Capturing-the-Light Valley Flow by Capturing-the-Light
Well today was the day for me, the first time of setting foot in the Wasdale Valley in over 5 1/2 years! Even after that time it has lost none of its allure and beauty for me. It was every bit as perfect as I remembered it. the only downsides were the weather, as the cloud was down covering the tops, and the wet and dampness that filled the air. But it was good to be back surrounded by those majestic mountains and watching the cloud, I say cloud as it was like one never ending big one all day long!

Sadly Dawn was not there to share the walk, but will be by the next time I visit.

This is shot looking back down towards Wasdale Head, with the hamlets farm, holiday cottage and pub/hotel being visible towards the top.

Thank you so much for viewing this work, its not my best, I am really just sharing my excitement at being back in the valley I love!!

Thank you so much indeed, I took it for granted for a while, but the lure of the english countryside brought me back from the other side of the world. Its diversity is amazing
