Hi Everyone,

Its been nearly 3 months since I had access to a computer away from work due to the move we undertook. Now finally Dawn and I have found a house, moved in this week and have access to the net! Never thought I would miss it, but its an essential in this day and age.

Anyway to each and everyone of you who has commented, visited, whish me a happy birthday, sent llamas, favourited or noted me, thank you so much indeed. Each means alot to me, and I apologise that I have been unable to reply in person at the time.

Hi Everyone,
A belated happy new year to you all, and I hope you all had a wonderful festive season and that this year brings you everything you hope for. Well we finally departed New Zealand, with some regret, and arrived back in the UK just before christmas. spent the time down in Worcestershire with family, and I have since moved up to West cumbria and started my new job, Dawn joins me in 12 days time, thank god, I miss her!

Anyway in the mean time here are the latest works that have taken my eye on deviant art, I have found them to be inspirational, and want to share that with you. We all learn from each other, thats what makes this community so great, these works shown here, have just that extra bit of teaching in them for me. I hope you enjoy and I hope you find time to visit their gallerys.

Hi to everyone of you reading this journal. As usual this contains the works of people who have caught my eye this month on deviant art. I encourage you all to view their galleries, they are to my mind inspirational artists indeed.

On a personal note, just to let you know that after much soul searching Dawn and I are moving back to the UK at the end of the month, to Cumbria, a photographers paradise. This being the case, my time on here for the next couple of months at least will be sporadic, whilst finding and setting up a new home. Hence I apologise beforehand, if you do not recieve a timely reply to comments, or favourites. This is unavoidable, but will be rectified fully once settled.

Welcome to all reading this journal  my regular feature of the work of others. Before I launch into my latest collection of inspirational works to me, I would just like to apologise in advance if people do not get a prompt answer or response from me for the next couple of weeks. I am going into hospital for surgery on thursday 22nd March and will be away from the computer for a while. I will of course endeavour once home and starting to recover to answer all comments, notes etc that may have been left during this build up to hospital and during my time there.

One other thought from me, a big thank you to all the people that give up their time to run clubs, act as moderators, and basically provide us all with pleasure. Most of us enter images into clubs, rarely does it cross my mind the process that takes place behind the scenes once entered, so a sincere thank you to all of you doing such sterling work, from myself and everyone on DA.

Welcome to all reading this journal  my regular feature of the work of others. On this occassion before I launch into it, I would like to note a couple of amazing things that have happened for me this month. Firstly here on Deviant Art I recieved my first ever Daily Deviation, which was absolutely amazing and so humbling to recieve. I am so thankful to those that suggested it, and to everyone that has supported me from the beginning and actually made it possible. I extend a huge thank you to everyone who came to view it, and especially to those that favourited it and commented. I also would like to apologise, the numbers that favourited it were for me so overwhelming that I sadly did not have the time to thank each one individually like I prefer too, for that I am truly sorry. Your favourites however were all very much appreciated, but trying to answer 2,000+ was impossible.

The others news from me, concerns an online photographic publication called Camerapixo, which is a pdf formatt photography magazine, which features the work of new photographers around the world, displaying their portfolios, and showing them to a really high standard. I have been downloading this magazine for the last few editions now, as its always impressed me, and more so when its actually free of charge, and has around 300 pages of amazing work. Well the shameless plug comes now!!, in the latest adition they have kindly featured 16 of my works plus a short write up, where I refer to Deviant Art etc. Should anyone wish to see the magazine, and sincerely I recommend it to all photographers with or with out my work in it the link is as follows

Before doing so though I would like to acknowledge the person who has influenced me the most in my life. Hi Everyone,

I am not sure how many of my deviant watchers are recieving my journal, but I want to take the opportunity to both thank you and apologise for a change in the way I operate on here.

I have been here such a short time , but during that time my work has been more popular than I could ever imagine. to each and everyone of you that has visited, watched me, favourited commented or given a llama badge, I sincerely thank you all. Your support and encouragement has been overwhelming and appreciated.

Sadly, and this is where the apology comes in, due to the amount of comments and favourites etc I am recieving I am going to have to revise my approach. I have always taken pride in the fact each and everyone of you gets a personal thank you from me, as I believe its the least I can do for your support.

However the time taken in doing so is increasing dramatically each day, and I have to acknowledge that with personal and work commitments, it is becoming impossible to keep on top of it all. Hence I cannot promise you all an individual response anymore, its with regret I say this, but it has to be done.

Please do not think I am being ignorant, or ungrateful if you do not recieve a response, it is not intended in that manner I assure you. Every single visit, view, comment and so on is truly appreciated by me, it means alot and gives me encouragement to continue to grow with my photography.

Deviant Art, has become a way of life for me, you are all part of it, and I thank you for being there, your support will always be cherished.

The idea behind this entry is to bring to you the work of others that I admire, and am inspired by. there is so much talent out there on Deviant Art that we must all miss so much of it. this is my way of saying thank you to all that support my work, and  inspire me  to try harder for that perfect photograph. Over time I want to make that a regular feature, the featured works are in no particular order. Do not be offended if your work is not there yet, I will get to you in time, there are so so many of you to showcase here. There is no theme as such to the works selected, they all have one thing in common though to me. They all demonstrate creativity, inspire me and visually appeal to me. I hope you will take the time to visit some of these fine artists and discover a world of inspiration.

Hi everyone

I would like to have a feature box on my front page to showcase the work of the work of so many on here that visit my page. I have found so much inspiration from the work of you all, that I would like to highlight peoples work to hopefully encourage others to visit them, and see what I have seen. Can anyone advise me on how to set it up, preferably in such a way that the artists work is actually seenin the box, rather than just a link. Thanks all

Hi to everyone

We have returned from the UK now, a sad visit following my Father passing away. Life does however go on, and it is comforting to be back amongst the Deviant community from which I draw strength and inspiration from you all.

Just a brief thank you to all of the kind words that have been sent me, the numerous photo comments, faves and watches etc, they are all truly appreciated.
